Bukalapak, an Indonesian marketplace Super App, had initiative to build their own grocery platform that fully operated by Bukalapak internal team. The platform is called BukaMart.

My role

Partnered with UX Research to research on users’ grocery purchase behavior

Result

Successful launch of Bukalapak grocery platform, BukaMart, which later manage to achieve more than 90 branches in Indonesia.

Takeaways

1.

Frequent alignment as early as possible is helpful for smooth process

By having alignment as early as possible I could get feedback much more early too. The feedbacks then helped me in deciding what I would do next.

2.

Prioritize and communicate your priority

Since I worked on this project from zero to one I had to align with many parties and had to get my hands into things beyond designing for the UI/UX. Therefore, prioritization came really handy and important to communicate it to other to set their expectations.
